Tempest Rising is designed for fans of real-time strategies. This title imitates the classic representatives of the RTS genre from the late 90s and early noughties. The video game uses an isometric view, but it has fully three-dimensional graphics. There are 3 factions to choose from. The gameplay for each of them is noticeably different. The project is made in a sci-fi setting. The events shown in it take place in an alternate world. In the 1960s, the Cuban Missile Crisis ended in a full-scale conflict. The superpowers exchanged missile strikes, after which a nuclear winter came to Earth. The action of the title begins 40 years after that war.

The story and lore are revealed in two campaigns, totaling 30 missions. In addition to them, there are single battles on maps with bots. There is also multiplayer with regular and ranked matches. In it, users have access to easy customization. In online hacks, gamers can fight among themselves or fight together against artificial intelligence. The gameplay in TR is reminiscent of the Command & Conquer series. Here, too, it is necessary to send analogues of harvesters to extract a valuable mineral. In this case, a resource called Tempest, around which the whole plot is tied. In addition, here you need to build a base, develop the economy, stamp units, capture no man’s buildings, and also fight with the enemy army and neutral creatures.
